About Us

    Their story begins in two different parts of the world – Canada and Israel. Gadi and Rebecca’s fateful meeting seemed jeopardized when Gadi moved to Argentina. When would these two meet? Gadi moved to Canada in 1998 and quickly became involved with JSA/Hillel. In 2003, Gadi went to a Hillel conference being held in Calgary and met the woman of his dreams: Rebecca.

    A brief long distance relationship which included MSN chats and phone calls could not stand in the way of their love. Rebecca moved to Winnipeg to pursue her professional aspirations of becoming an Engineer. She was also following her heart. The two have been inseparable since: carpooling to school (yes, they are both engineers!), volunteering at Hillel, helping out and performing (well, just Gadi) with the Sarah Sommber Chai Folk Ensemble, and traveling the globe together.

    Gadi and Rebecca are now getting ready to take their relationship to the next level. They are both very excited about beginning their life together and cannot wait to share such a special day with all the people they love.
